Jim is an accomplished award-winning broadcaster, voiceover artist, actor, host and emcee who is driven by an incredible passion for self-expression. Currently he Los Angeles Radio Correspondent for Westwood One News, his award-winning radio career includes KRLA and KNX in Los Angeles and his work as the West Coast Radio News correspondent for CNN.Jim started his career as a disc jockey but natural curiosity directed him to news. Jim is also a performer. His acting roles are often noted for their unique blend of passion, grace, comedy and fire. Jim has created characters that are unforgettable.
Jim's voice and character voices have appeared in various commericals and animated features such as "Puss n' Boots Beyond the Fairytale" from Renegade Animation in Los Angeles and in stage productions such as "The Odd Couple" in which he played Felix Unger. He has won 10 Golden Mic Awards and two Peabody Awards for excellence in broadcasting.
