BOB JAMES & DAVID SANBORN INTRODUCE THEIR ALBUM QUARTETTE HUMAINE… A TRIBUTE TO DAVID BRUBECK & PAUL DESMOND…JUST RELEASED MAY 21st
It's the first collaboration between James & Sanborn since their 1986 Platinum-Selling, GRAMMY® Award-Winning Album, Double Vision, and features bassist James Genus & drummer Steve Gadd on the all acoustic project.

Quartette Humaine pays tribute to the late iconic pianist-composer David Brubeck, putting a prime spotlight on his work that featured alto saxophonist Paul Desmond.

Okeh released the new album, Quartette Humaine on May 21, 2013, bringing James’ legendary composing & skills on the keys together with the sweet sounds of Sanborn’s alto sax.

Bob James: "David is one of the most inspiring musicians I've ever collaborated with. We were long overdue to follow up on the only time we ever did a project together. So this project is very special and has given us the opportunity to share our separate musical experiences and create something new and different."
